A CROSS-cum-shot from James Short flew in at the death to earn Runcorn Linnets a point at Glossop.
The first half was sparse of any action but the second half started much better.
It was the Blues who opened the scoring 10 minutes into the second period, Matty Gilham with an in-swinging right-footed cross that Keaton Mulvey met on the half volley to knock the ball home.
Linnets began to pile on the presure in search of a point and it paid off late on.
