A THIRD defeat in a row for Ramsbottom came at the hands of Kidsgrove who moved up to 11th.
The tempo of the game in the early stages was extremely slow and neither side could seem to get the ball under control for a sustained period.
However, that didn’t stop the visitors as they grabbed the opener just nine minutes in thanks to a Aaron Bott header.
The hosts were back on level terms after 36 minutes when James Murphy smashed home from close range.
