A BOOTLE side devoid of confidence suffered their fourth defeat in a row with a drubbing at the hands of Hanley Town.
It took the visitors 15 minutes to take the lead when Joel Stair slotted past debutant keeper Wyll Stanway and the lead was doubled six minutes later when Jacob Twyford smashed home.
Bootle looked to come back into it with a halfchance for Connor Millington and a wild effort from Charlie Holland but it was the visitors who should have taken another goal into the break but James Lawrie was unable to capitalise.
