■GOALKEEPER Finlay Hodgson was the stoppage-time hero for North Shields as they held Ossett United to a draw. A first half which could have seen the game tied at 3-3 somehow ended 0-0, as Chris Mc-Donald hit the woodwork twice and Ossett were denied by the offside flag.
Both team had chances in the second half, Hodg- son pulling off acrobatics to tip an effort over his crossbar.
Stoppage time is when the drama unfolded. A free kick awarded to Ossett in the 90th minute was turned home by Alex Peterson to haunt the Robins for the second week in a row...
