CAMERON FOGARTY scored the only goal as Witton Albion edged out Skelmersdale United in a tense game.
Skem grew into the game and after 34 minutes Karl Clair was denied by Witton goal keeper Oliver Martin.
Martin immediately sent a long ball upfield and a slip by Kian Bell allowed Fogarty in to score.
Both teams used all three substitutions to try to liven the game up but to no avail. After 82 minutes the visitors were awarded a penalty but denied by Skem keeper Sam Ashton.
