■ JONATHAN Margetts got Stamford off and running to a comfortable win from the penalty spot after a clumsy tackle inside the box.
The visitors doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when what initially looked like a poor header from James Blunden somehow looped over Yaxley keeper Kacper Kurylowicz.
It took until the 67th minute for Stamford to score their third, Will Mellors-Blair volleying in from close range after a corner was not cleared. And it was 4-0 three minutes later with Jake Duffy poking in from close range.
