DAVENTRY Town scored three second-half goals to overcome relegation-threatened Yaxley.
Town had the better of the first half, but could not find their way past the Cuckoos’ keeper, Kristian Ogonowski.
Town finally broke the deadlock early in the second half when Charlie Kille headed home a Ryan Inman free-kick for his first goal in Town’s colours.
Just two minutes later, and it was birthday boy Jack Bowen’s bullet header from George Ball’s corner that extended the lead.
