GRIMSBY Borough extended their unbeaten run to eight games after a late equaliser saw them come from behind to draw with depleted Consett.
After a dour first half, the home side took the lead after 43 minutes when George Horrocks fired home at the back post from a Tom Sawyer cross.
Consett levelled after 57 minutes when Kieren Aplin latched onto a Scott Fenwick flick and kept his nerve to finish. They took the lead after 72 minutes when Declan Bisset’s pass saw Fenwick outmuscle his man and beat the keeper for his first goal for the club.
