DAVENTRY visited The Oval looking to avenge their narrow 1-0 defeat earlier in the season.
In a game that saw very little goalmouth action and no real clear-cut chances for either team, it was going to be either a mistake or a moment of brilliance that would settle this.
Unfortunately for the paying spectators, neither happened.
Daventry were happy to slow the game down and, with both teams giving away needless free-kicks, there was no real flow to either side’s play.
