LEADERS South Shields will unveil their early Christmas present when they host Whitby Town in the NPL Premier on Boxing Day.
Striker Jordy Mongoy has committed his longterm future to the club after an impressive 28- day loan from National League Wealdstone.
The 23-year-old scored three times in four appearances for the Mariners, helping them to top the table at Christmas.
They lead Hyde United on goal difference at the summit, although the Tigers will be looking to claw that back with the lunchtime visit of strugglers Stalybridge Celtic on Monday.
