■ CONSETT made it three wins in a row by beating Pontefract at a blustery Belle View.
After a moving minute’s applause in memory of supporter Darren Blakey, who died in midweek, Kieren Aplin set them on their way in the 19th minute, turning and firing into the corner.
A minute later, Ponte were level when Spencer Clarke scored after a long throw was half-cleared.
Josh Baggs restored the lead after 72 minutes, finishing from close range after Aplin’s free-kick was touched onto a post by the keeper.
