CARL Finnigan’s second-half goal for Dunston settled a highly competitive encounter against play-off hopefuls Cleethorpes.
Harvey Tomlinson, on loan from Grimsby Town, created plenty of problems for the visiting defence, twice going agonisingly close to giving the hosts a valuable lead.
At the other end, a Richard Coulson snapshot flew inches wide of the target and Liam Thear also went near to breaking the deadlock.
