HALESOWEN remain top of the league after securing maximum points at Cambridge City.
The Yeltz found themselves 2-0 up at the break courtesy of a penalty from Richard Gregory and an outstanding strike from Ash Sammons.
Despite having the lead, the visitors were made to work hard for their victory.
Cambridge had a first-half effort ruled out for offside and they put in a spirited second-half display that saw the Halesowen goal come under pressure from some decent chances.
