Fewster throws Seasiders lifeline

FALTERING high-flyers Gainsborough suffered their fourth straight defeat without scoring as Bradley Fewster’s strike on the hour gave lowly Whitby victory at the Northolme.
Fewster turned home Harry Green’s centre, giving the Seasiders all three points against a lacklustre Gainsborough side, who slipped out of the play-off places.
A tepid first half saw a couple of half chances fall the way of the hosts. Prosper Keto crossed for Clayton Donaldson, but the veteran frontman was unable to steer his header on target.
