MATLOCK were the happier side after a draw.
Play-off rivals Warrington edged a remarkably tight affair, indicative of the positions the sides held in the table.
Clear chances were few with both defences in control despite there being plenty of effort from the respective attacks.
The visiting Yellows enjoyed the more sustained pressure, Matlock doing well to repel an early assault. Then referee Lee Hible had to step in to control tempers in two separate incidents, which led to Warrington’s Mitch Duggan and Tom Han-nigan being booked...
