MARTYN Jackson scored a first-half brace as Skelmersdale United beat Glossop North End, despite having a man sent off late on.
The visitors took the lead after just eight minutes through Jackson, who then went on to double his tally in the 34th minute, giving the visitors a deserved lead going into the half-time break.
After a frustrating second half for the hosts, they eventually pulled one back in the 90th minute through substitute Nathan Valentine who had only been on the pitch for five minutes.
