KIDSGROVE edged out City of Liverpool. The hosts were on top in the first half, creating plenty of chances, with Kieran Knapper hitting a post. Kidsgrove took the lead five minutes before the break when Knapper found Jimmy Garlick inside the box and he smashed it in.
City of Liverpool put a bit of pressure on in the second half, but nothing to trouble Ryan Brown in the Kidsgrove goal. Kidsgrove continued their dominance and it got worse for City of Liverpool when Michael Grogan got sent off for kicking a Kidsgrove player.
