O’BRIEN AT THE DOUBLE

CORBY Town carried their confidence from beating league leaders Halesowen last week with two goals within a minute to beat Shepshed Dynamo.
Corby took the lead after 14 minutes. After clearing off the line, Jordan O’Brien opened the scoring and a minute later he doubled the visitors lead.
Shepshed tried to react but Corby were in control. Dynamo made a response in the second half but rarely threatened, the best chance coming in the last minute Jake Betts header hitting the crossbar.
