EDY Maieco’s superb second-half strike saw Hyde United stay second after a 1-0 away win over relegation-threatened Nantwich Town.
After a fairly dull start to proceedings, the affair suddenly sparked into life when Ivan Urvantev won a penalty for the hosts.
Dan Atherton guessed the right way to deny Daniel Cockerline from the spot, though the danger wasn’t over yet.
