■ A FIRST-half goal by ex-Magpie Toby Hilliard won it for play-off chasing Corby in a tie of few chances.
In the 33rd minute Corby’s Ben Scoult played a give and go with Hilliard and fired over from 25 yards. They then reversed roles with Scoult playing a short pass to Hilliard in the box, who slotted in.
Corby had a slender lead at the break. The Magpies won a corner in the 53rd minute, but skipper Dion Frary could only head onto the crossbar
