More misery for the Highwaymen

MORPETH Town’s relegation worries deepened with a second defeat in four days at Craik Park, losing 1-0 to FC United of Manchester.
Max Cane’s 57th minute goal was the difference between the two sides as the Highwaymen remained two points above the drop with five games to play off the back of defeat at home to Warrington Town on Tuesday and this loss.
The first half was a thoroughly entertaining affair as the visitors saw plenty of the ball but Morpeth created the clearer chances.
