■ GOALS from Jack Boyle and Josh Grant saw Brighouse win their fifth game in six.
A 16th-minute ball up field from goalkeeper Jamie Hassall was brought down well by Boyle, who in turn fired low and through the Consett stopper Mark Foden’s legs at his near post.
Joshua Baggs was soon sent through on goal for the visitors, but he was denied an equaliser well by Hassall in the 21st minute.
