■ LONG Eaton United secured a play-off spot with a win against Brighouse Town at Grange Park.
United’s fourth-place finish means they will travel to face third-place Hebburn Town in the play-off semi final.
Long Eaton got off to a perfect start as Alex Marshall headed home the opener after just two minutes played.
Half-time substitute Tom Cursons scored less than five minutes after the restart with a deft finish to double the lead.
