MARCUS Cusani struck after just four minutes to set Ashton United on their way to a comfortable win at Hurst Cross.
The hosts made just one change from Tuesday’s win at home to Basford, with Chris Dawson replacing the injured James Caton. Dawson was instrumental in the opening goal. His long clearance from halfway found Cusani, who lobbed the ball over the advancing Nathan Harker.
