■ 1874 deservedly picked up their first three points at home this season.
The visitors had the better of the first half, controlling the game. 74’s Sam Adetiloye was shown a red card for a collision with the Vauxhall keeper late in the first half.
In the second half the deadlock was broken from the penalty spot, following a handball. Lucas Weir stepped up to fire home a perfectly struck penalty.
