■ SPORTING Khalsa’s lions roared to a big victory. Tounmai Sidibe opened the scoring after a smart turn in the box.
Rushden responded well and deserved their early second-half equaliser from a cute finish from Pharrell Anderson.
After a excellent spell from Khalsa they retook the lead, with an excellent cross from James McGrady resulting in a quality finish on the swivel form Robbie Bunn.
