A CROWD of 1,248 saw Gainsborough Trinity claim a huge 2-0 win over third-placed Worksop Town to move clear above the relegation zone.
Lewis Butroid opened the scoring for Trinity before Fraser Preston wrapped up the points
John Rooney bagged a hat-trick as Macclesfield picked up a fine 3-2 win at Warrington Rylands, leaving them in fourth, while Whitby Town saw off Ilkeston Town 3-0 thanks to second-half goals from Daniel Rowe, Junior Mondal and Stephen Walker.
