MACCLESFIELD had Kane Drummond to thank, as they were narrow 2-1 winners over Guiseley in a duel between two sides targeting a promotion play-off place this season.
The Silkmen opened the scoring after 16 minutes, when an over-thetop ball wasn’t properly headed back to the goalkeeper and Alex Curran took full advantage to lob a helpless Ollie Battersby.
