■ CHASETOWN eased to a comfortable home victory over Kidsgrove. The hosts made a dream start with a goal after just six minutes. Johno Atherton capitalised on a defensive error and side footed past Kieran Harrison. Grove lost striker Josh Thorpe on a stretcher after a clash with Chase keeper James Wren, unfortunately confirmed as a broken leg.Early in the second period, a foul on Atherton led to a Langston free-kick that Harrison had to flick over the crossbar.
