MANASSE Mampala made his presence felt off the bench as Hyde United had their loanee forward to thank for rescuing the promotion hopefuls apoint against relegation-threatened Stafford Rangers.
The visitors will have been pleased with their first-half display, sitting deep and stifling their hosts before having the clearer sights of goal.
On 20 minutes Brad Roscoe’s well-timed block stopped Rangers from taking the lead, as Connor Heath cut inside from the right to find Sean Cooke.
