GRANTHAM Town are now four points away from safety as they lost at Pontefract Collieries.
On a heavy pitch, the Gingerbread men keeper Curtis Hall made two decent saves. The first, saw him deny Bailey Thompson as he had gone one on one with him.
The second came midway through the first half when he was full stretch to turn away Adam Haw’s long-range drive.
The game’s only goal came just after the hour mark when Thompson forced the ball home from Connor Smythe’s cross from the right.
