IN a hard-fought encounter, Stockton were held by a battling Cleethorpes outfit.
The leaders struggled to come to terms with a very windy afternoon on the East Coast and the hosts had the best of the first period.
Curtis Bateson twice went close to breaking the deadlock and, in the best moment, keeper Nathan Harker denied Josh Walker with his legs.
