BOOTLE remained five points clear inside the play-off places after easing past Kidsgrove Athletic.
The visitors never looked like putting a foot wrong and opened the scoring just 11 minutes before half-time, courtesy of Conor Hardwood’s effort in the 34th minute.
From there, Bootle kept mid-table Kidsgrove at arm’s length, before rounding off a fine afternoon’s work with a late second.
