THERE were contrasting emotions at full-time from these two sides: Stafford a relegated team on their knees; and a joyous Ashton United who continue their play-off charge.
A late rally from the Rangers led to nothing as they faltered and failed to score in a second consecutive match. That was the story of their season : Dave Cooke’s side remain the lowest scorers in the division with 36.
