PRESCOT Cables secured their play-off place with a home win over Stalybridge Celtic at the Joseph Russell Stadium.
Kyle Sambor opened the scoring just before the halfhour mark, following up on James Foley’s effort after the midfielder broke clear of the Celtic defence.
At the back, Liam Hollett returned to the side and put in a superb performance to keep Mitch Allen, in the home net, relatively untroubled.
