BASFORD UNITED’S season ended in celebration as they defeated Bamber Bridge at Greenwich Avenue.
Joshua Barnes bagged a goal in each half, and a Jack Thomas screamer along with a first Amber goal for Tyler Dacres completed an impressive performance.
Despite pressure from the visitors, Basford took an early advantage as Victor Nirennold made a run from his own half into the area, before playing in Barnes, who finished calmly through the legs of Ellis Litherland-Riding, putting the Ambers up by one in the 20th minute.
