■ IT was a disappointing end to the season for Corby as they were beaten at home by bottom-of-thetable Gresley Rovers.
The Steelmen took the lead after 19 minutes when a great run and shot by Marshall struck the upright, bouncing out to Toby Hilliard who was in the right spot to strike it back into the net.
The rest of the first half was a scrappy affair with a handful of off-target shots.
