UNITED HIT THE DEC BUT ILKESTON NIP IN FOR DRAW

FC UNITED rued missed opportunities as Ilkeston Town left Broadhurst Park with a share of the points after a late equaliser from Tom Cursons cancelled out Dec Evans’ opening goal.
The home side started brightly and forced Matt Yates into an early save from Jay Fitzmartin.
The hosts did have the ball in the net in the 9th minute but the flag had already gone up before Evans slotted home.
At the other end, Ollie Byrne was called into action, tipping a Jamie Walker shot wide.
