■ GARY DRAKE’S first home game for Shepshed Dynamo as new manager was one of huge importance against fellow strugglers Lye Town.
Following a narrow loss to table-topping Corby Town, Drake was eyeing what would be a vital win.
Lye Town began the stronger of the two sides, though, with Ewan Edwards dispossessing Theo Sackey-Mensah after 11 minutes. Edwards’ effort narrowly cleared Dan Wallis’ crossbar.
