BASFORD United settled for a point against Prescot Cables at Greenwich Avenue in a game that saw plenty of action without a great deal of chances.
For a while, the game was a cagey affair as neither side could carve open either’s back line despite an equal share of the ball.
But the breakthrough came on 32 minutes when Basford gave the ball and a through ball played in Kallan Murphy, allowing him to tap Prescot into the lead.
