BLYTH WON’T HYDE AFTER LATEST BLOW FOR REGIME

BLYTH Spartans’ new regime are still looking for their first victory five games in after play-off hopefuls Hyde snatched a slender single goal victory in Northumberland.
Rock-bottom Spartans were up against it from the 20th minute when on loan Gateshead midfielder Connor Pani was sent off, Jack Redshaw’s 50th minute strike then proving decisive.
The visitors dominated the first half at Croft Park but were unable to turn their dominance into a lead.
