LEEK Town gave their supporters an early Christmas present as they turned in their best performance of the season to earn a comprehensive victory – and achieve a season’s double – over Basford.
In an open first half the Blues nearly fell behind on 12 minutes to Jordan Hallam’s effort that came back off the post before then hitting their opponents with three goals in a devastating ten-minute spell.
