RUNAWAY league leaders Macclesfield had to settle for a share of the spoils from their trip to Prescot Cables.
Cables went into the game in a poor run of form, but they got their noses in front when they were awarded a penalty for a push in the box on Ben Elliott.
James Foley’s shot down the middle was saved but he won the race to the rebound and slotted it past the keeper to make it 1-0 on 14 minutes.
