■JAMES Hooper marked his return from injury by scoring a decisive goal for Witton Albion against back-markers City of Liverpool.
The substitute, coincidentally on target during his previous appearance close to two months ago, came off the bench to settle the outcome after 76 minutes.
It means the Purps, on level terms briefly after Musa Jobe equalised from short range at a corner, have now lost 11 successive matches – including all seven since Kevin Lynch was appointed as manager last month.
