■RUSHDEN and Diamonds claimed a hard-fought away win over Khalsa, with goals from Jamal Adams and Calvin Green securing the victory.
The visitors took the lead early after a foul 20 yards out, with Adams coolly tucking away the free-kick. Khalsa responded with pressure, but Rushden nearly doubled their lead, only to be denied by a strong defensive effort.
Touchline drama unfolded as Khalsa’s assistant manager, Jemiah Richards, was sent off following a heated debate over a controversial referee decision.
