AN ACTION-packed opening game of the season at the Project Solar Stadium saw Hyde narrowly defeat Lancaster.
Surprisingly the only goal of the game came as early as the second minute.
Jack Redshaw got down to the byline on the left-hand side of the box and squared the ball along the six-yard box for the onrushing Jordan Scanlon who got the final touch to give the Tigers the lead.
