ILKESTON Town earned a valuable victory at Leek Town as goals from Harvey Kirby-Moore and Jamie Walker proved enough to take the spoils.
The Robins made a dream start inside six minutes when good work down the right from Jordan Stevens set up Kirby-Moore, who calmly tucked home from close range to give the visitors the lead.
Leek responded with efforts from Connor Heath and Jack Griffiths, while Lucas Weir tested Dan Roberts with a low free-kick, but Ilkeston remained in front at the interval.
