■ THE spoils were shared in a drenched South Yorkshire as Hallam drew one each with Blyth Spartans in the Northern Premier League East yesterday afternoon.
The Spartans took the lead inside the first 15 minutes through winger Benji Shodeinde, whose deflected shot from the edge of the area found the bottom-right corner to put the visitors ahead.
The Countrymen finally got the equaliser in the 70th minute, though, with another goal-line scramble.
