LINCOLN returned to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over Blyth.
The decisive moment came after 26 minutes when skipper Elliot Dye confidently smashed home a penalty, awarded after Connor Brown was pulled down in the box.
It was the hosts’ first goal in three matches and provided a vital platform.
Their task became more difficult just before half-time, as Jaime Ture received a second yellow card in the 42nd minute, leaving Lincoln with ten men for nearly an hour.
