PROMOTION hopefuls Warrington Rylands enhanced their prospects with a battling win.
The first period did not exactly set the pulses racing, with only limited goalmouth action.
For the home side, Curtis Bateson came closest, curling in a shot from around 15 yards that was deflected wide. At the other end, keeper Ollie Battersby twice needed to be alert to make saves.
After the half-time refreshments, the game suddenly burst into life. Within 60 seconds of the restart, Harrison Wood capitalised on hesitation...
